We are seeking dynamic and motivated Shift Supervisor’s to join the team at the state-of-the-art Coolstore located in Ruakura. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a cutting-edge facility supporting New Zealand’s primary industry sector.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll be the driving force behind our logistics operations:
    • Lead with Expertise: Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
    • Empower Your Team: Motivate, train, and mentor your team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
    • Problem-Solving Champion: Identify and resolve operational issues proactively, minimizing disruptions and optimizing efficiency.
    • Safety First: Champion a safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and regulations.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Manage work schedules, assigning tasks, and providing clear instructions.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement training initiatives for team development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to streamline processes and maximize resource utilization.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure adherence to MPI requirements.
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements for increased productivity and customer satisfaction.

Candidate skills and experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office.
    • Operational Warehouse Supervision skills with a strong knowledge of logistics.
    • Experience with MPI requirements for Primary Industries.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Leadership, motivation, and team engagement skills.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Commitment to safety and a focus on continuous improvement.

  • We have multiple Shift Supervisor positions available:
    • Monday to Friday AM Shift (x1)
    • Rostered Days (Four days on/Four days off) (x2)
    • Rostered Nights (Four nights on/Four nights off) (x2)
    • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand, Clean MOJ Check
