Warehouse Manager

Position: Full-time

This client has been successfully refining IT hardware asset services and providing businesses with the highest levels of security.

A full-time role leading an operational team for the Auckland region, needing a solid background in IT and management and has a passion for sustainability.

 

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Managing all aspects of operations including quality control, staff, health and safety, training, reporting and compliance.
  • You will ensure your site operates in full compliance and runs efficiently in line with financial targets.
  • Reporting to the Head of operations manager, you will lead your team with strong client relationship building and people management skills.
  • Being process driven, it would be essential that you identify areas for improvement and work to implement strategies to increase productivity, quality of standards and reduction of costs.
  • Leading safety plans for environmental compliance and standards for all internal and external staff.

Candidate skills and experience:

  • In depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment and ability to apply principles.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage and lead.
  • Understand R2V3 Certification.
  • Ability to form productive relationships with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Diploma in Logistics or Warehousing Operations or higher
  • Illustrated experience in managing a dynamic team (more than 5 years)
