Operations Supervisor

Position: Full-time

Located in Takanini, our Client provides an end-to-end manufacturing solution for Structural Steel Beams. They are a reputable and privately-owned business that provides a fun and friendly culture and a ‘state of the art’ purpose built, work environment.

They are urgently on the hunt for an experienced Supervisor who can lead, is familiar with Health and Safety to join their team on a fixed-term basis

Hours are: Mon-Fri 6am to 2.30pm

 

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Oversee all welding operations
  • Train and supervise plant operator associates
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures
  • Ensure that all operations are conducted in a timely and efficient manner

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our wielding team

Candidate skills and experience:

  • 1+ years of experience in a supervisor role
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
