Night Shift Inventory Lead

We’re seeking a highly organized and motivated Inventory Lead team member to join our growing team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment while assisting with a variety of administrative tasks.

  • Location: Ruakura, Hamilton.

Hours are: Monday to Friday – 10pm to 6am

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

As an Inventory Lead, you will hold the operational team accountable to follow the processes, ensuring that inventory is always accurate, you will also work proactively with operations management and the order management planner on-site to ensure effective use of the full site’s capacity across product streams, and effective zoning of our product ranges to drive efficiency for our customers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Ensure current and accurate inventory control and stock reconciliation for each account.
  • Supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including measurement of inventory KPI’s in weekly and monthly reports
  • Hold the operational team accountable for following processes to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager, and the Order management planner to ensure efficient use of site capacity

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Warehouse/distribution background
  • Previous Inventory Supervision experience in a cold store environment
  • Experience in both internal and external audits
  • Ability to lead, motivate and engage team members without direct authority
  • Soft people skills, and a focus on collaboration
