General Warehousing Staff (South Auckland)

Position: Full-time

We are on the hunt for general warehousing workers.  Warehousing can fall under a few things like pick packing, devanning, production work, etc.  We have a range of clients that require different needs.  If you are fit and would like work around South Auckland, then this might be for you!

 

Hours of work

  • Most of our clients are looking for morning shift workers. However, we may have a couple of afternoon/night shift roles.  Hours will be discussed further in detail if successful.

 

Locations we have:

  • Highbrook
  • East Tamaki
  • Mt Wellington
  • Wiri

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

These are general responsibilities, however pending what role you are successful for, duties will change:

  • Pick pack of orders.
  • General warehousing duties.
  • Container loading/unloading.
  • Re-stocking shelves.
  • Labelling.
  • Attending to team leave/supervisors.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Be reliable and eager to work.
  • Be a fast learner.
  • Be capable of basic problem solving.
  • Have good counting skills.
  • Have basic written and communication skills.
  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs.

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Previous warehousing experience is a bonus but not a requirement (some of our client’s roles may require experience).
  • Forklift licence and advantage but not necessary.

Your application will require providing the following:

  • Clean police check.
  • Hold full NZ working rights.
  • Steel-capped safety boots.
  • Have reliable transport.
  • Work referees (we will not accept applications unless you have valid references).
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test.
