Pick Packers, RF Scanning & Forklift Roles (Mangere)

Position: Full-time

This Automotive company has over 300 stores open wide across Australia and New Zealand .  This is a renowned retailer that specialises in automotive parts and accessories.

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join one of our client’s distribution centre in Mangere, Auckland. If you have a passion for anything automotive, this is the job for you.

We are on the lookout for

  • Pick packers: 6am – 2:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Devanners: 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
  • Forklift Drivers: 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Saturday work is available and optional for all 3 roles if you would like to get extra cash!

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

Duties will vary depending on the role but an example of these would be:

  • General warehousing duties
  • Pick packing (RF scanning may be included)
  • Stock replenishing
  • Container unloading
  • Heavy lifting up to 25kgs
  • If forklift driving use of the hoist is essential but you will also be required to do manual labour at time

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Previous warehousing experience (is a must for Forklift drivers)
  • Great written and verbal English
  • Basic counting skills

Your application will require providing the following:

  • You must be able to pass a drug test
  • Have a clean Ministry of Justice check
  • Steel capped safety boots
  • Legally entitled to work in NZ
  • RF scanning experience (but not essential can provide full training)
  • Forklift license (forklift role)
