Freight Sorters – Wiri & Mt Roskill

Position: Full-time

We are seeking fit, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to work in a fast-paced environment where opportunities can grow and develop. That’s okay if you have never worked before, full training will be provided if you are successful. Please note, you need to be at least 18 years old to be eligible.

Location – Wiri/Mt Roskill

Mt Roskill Shifts Times :

  • Afternoon – Mon -Sun – 4pm – 10pm

Wiri Shifts Times :

  • Morning – 6am/10.30am – 2.30pm
  • Afternoon – 2pm/4pm/5pm – 9pm/10.00pm
  • Night – 10pm start – 7.00am

Please note:  – Finish times and shifts vary depending on Freight Volumes.

This role will be suitable for anyone who is wanting part-time work like students or people who are wanting extra hours and full-time work.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

– Sorting out freight that come through on the operating line
– General warehousing tasks
– Attending to team leader/supervisor needs

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Physically fit (30kg lifting)
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Reliable transportation
  • Steel-capped boots
  • Have clean convictions (police check MOJ)
  • Entitled to work in NZ
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • 18 years and over (client requirements)

Candidate skills and experience:

– Previous warehousing/freight sorting experience however not a necessity

 

Your application will require providing the following:

  • Have reliable transport
  • Have steel capped safety boots
  • Clean police check (no convictions)
  • Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
