Our growing egg farm is seeking a dedicated Pick & Pack Associate to join our team! In this role, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our fresh, high-quality eggs reach happy customers everywhere.

Part Time Hours are between:  Monday – Saturday – 7.30am to 4.00pm

(This will be an on-call role, then will continue to be ongoing for the right person)

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Carefully pick eggs from cartons delivered by the farm.
  • Inspect eggs for quality and size, ensuring they meet our strict standards.
  • Pack eggs efficiently into designated cartons or cases, following labeling guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote food safety.
  • Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential.
  • The ability to work efficiently and meet daily production targets is key.
  • You’re a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of food safety procedures

Candidate skills and experience:

  • No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality Health & Safety standards.
  • Strong physical health and ability to perform tasks requiring lifting and standing for extended periods.

Your application will require providing the following:

  • Must be a NZ Citizen or Resident
  • A basic understanding of food safety procedures is a plus.
