Duty Manager & Chefs Required

Position: Full-time

Our client is a popular bar & family restaurant located in South Auckland. Business is booming and they are on the hunt for more staff.

We currently have vacancies and are looking for Bar Staff, Wait Staff, Duty Managers and Chefs.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

Day to day Duties

Providing excellent customer service

All standard Hospitality and Bar duties

Serving Customers

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Requirements for Waiting / Bar Staff & Duty Managers are:

  • To provide excellent customer service to all our bar and restaurant customers
  • Must have great passion for the hospitality & Bar Industry
  • Working behind the bar serving clients plus assisting the kitchen with delivering meals from the kitchen to client tables
  • Cash Handling.
  • Gaming experience would be an advantage but not a must.
  • Have current bar manager license (Duty Manager roles)
  • Working with diverse personalities both with the staff and patrons.
  • Diffusing tense situations between patrons or staff members to prevent possible safety or legal issues, ejecting unruly persons, if needed.
  • Bar experience
  • Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for patrons.
  • Must be able to work afternoon/night shift hours & flexible with days of work.

Candidate skills and experience:

Requirements for Chefs are:

  • Previous cooking/chef experience is critical.
  • Excellent communication.
  • Being able to work under pressure as the kitchen can be very busy both day and night.
  • Working with diverse personalities both with the staff and patrons.
  • Must be able to work any shift hours & flexible with days of work.

Other Information:

Pay rate is dependent on experience
