Our dynamic food manufacturing company is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our production processes.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Collaborating with production and maintenance teams to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Proactively analyzing equipment performance and recommending preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Designing and implementing improvements to existing machinery and production lines.
  • Managing and participating in equipment installation and commissioning projects.
  • Staying up to date on the latest advancements in food manufacturing technology.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to food safety regulations.
