Position: Full-time

Our client currently has several Permanent jobs available within their business and are wanting fit individuals to do water blasting. They are a NZ owned company who thrive on culture and treating all staff like family.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 6.30am – 4.30pm (there are opportunities for over-time as well)

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Water Blasting
  • Hot & Cold-water cleaning
  • Dry Cleaning
  • Chemical Cleaning
  • Sanding & preparation
  • Steel work (cleaning/painting)

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Physically fit
  • Have a great attitude
  • Team player

Candidate skills and experience:

The following qualifications is a bonus, not a necessity:

  • Permit Receiver & Hazard Management
  • Working at Heights Advanced
  • Mobile Elevated Work Platforms
  • Confined Space & Gas Detection
  • 1st Aid

Your application will require providing the following:

  • MUST have a minimum restricted driver license
  • MUST have full working rights in NZ
  • MUST pass a pre-employment drug test

Other Information:

You will meet at the yard in Papakura each day and travel together with your team to different sites. The areas can be long distance & can be different environments such as farms, commercial buildings etc.
