Warehouse Workers – Wiri

NZ Staff are on the hunt for candidates to work with one of our clients who are within the carpentry industry. This manufacturing company has been open for over 150 years and it is still continuing to grow! If you’re looking for warehousing work in Wiri then please read ahead!

We’re seeking candidates across various departments for the client:

  • Forklift Drivers
  • Warehousing (several warehousing departments within this, further description will be discussed upon application)

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm (OT starts at 5am)
  • Monday to Friday 3.30pm – 12am (OT finishes at 12am)

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

The below is a general list of what may be required. This may vary depending on what department you may be in:

  • RF scanning
  • Picking
  • Carpet cutting
  • Dispatch
  • Load/unloading containers (forklift driving)
  • Probing (forklift driver)

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Being able to do the manual work
  • Must be fit!
  • Being able to work unsupervised

Candidate skills and experience:

  • For the forklift driver role – you need to have previous forklift experience
  • Previous warehousing experience but not necessary

 

Your application will require providing the following:

  • Steel-capped safety boots
  • Legally entitled to work in NZ
  • Pass a drug test
  • Clean convictions (police check)
