Freight Sorters – Highbrook

Position: Full-time

We are seeking fit, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to work in a fast-paced environment where opportunities can grow and develop.  That’s okay if you have never worked before, full training will be provided if you are successful. Please note, you need to be at least 18 years old to be eligible.

Location

  • Highbrook

Hours we are looking for:

  • Morning shift – 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon shift 2pm – 10pm Monday to Friday
  • Afternoon shift 5pm – 10pm Monday to Friday
  • Nightshift 10pm – 6am Monday to Friday
  • Sundays – 10.30am – 7pm

Weekend work is also available somedays when extra work is required however this is optional.

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Sorting out freight that come through on the operating line
  • General warehousing tasks
  • Attending to team leader/supervisor needs

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs
  • Have the right attitude
  • Able to work cohesively within a team

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Previous warehousing/freight sorting experience however not a necessity

Your application will require providing the following:

  • Have reliable transport
  • Have steel capped safety boots
  • Clean police check (no convictions)
  • Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
  • Need to pass a drug test
