External Sales Representative

Position: Full-time

NSK is a leading manufacturer that markets our products through a network of distribution partners and maintains relationships with key end users. Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and maximize revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, providing necessary support and guidance to optimize sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with distribution partners to actively seek and secure new end user opportunities, to drive growth and expand the company’s market share.
  • Deliver compelling formal and informal sales presentations and product demonstrations to distribution partners and end customers.
  • Provide/coordinate technical support to distribution partners, enabling them to effectively promote and sell NSK products.
  • Act as a point of contact for distribution partners and customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely submission of quotations and seamless execution of order processing, inventory management, and timely delivery of products.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our products and services.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories to meet with distribution partners and attend industry events.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills, with the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with distribution partners and customers.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, is preferred.
  • Proven track record in external sales, preferably within the bearing industry or a related technical field.
  • Technical aptitude to understand and effectively communicate product specifications and applications.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of products and other sales tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories to meet with distribution partners and attend industry events.
