Devanner / Counterbalance Forklift Driver (East Tamaki)

Position: Full-time

Our client is located in the East Tamaki area and have an exciting opportunity for a hard-working individual to join as a warehouse crew member.

This is a diverse role where you will be working closely with a tight-knit team.

Hours of work are: Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm

Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:

  • Manual lifting will be required
  • Devanning containers when required
  • Loading and unloading trucks
  • Forklift general duties
  • Warehouse general duties
  • Asist the warehouse supervisor where needed

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Reliable and willing to learn
  • Good with computers
  • Can-do attitude
  • Being able to lift up to 25 kgs
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good with computers

Candidate skills and experience:

  • Need to have previous warehousing experience
  • Forklift experience (1+ years)

Your application will require providing the following:

  • Steel-capped safety boots
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Have clean convictions (police check MOJ)
  • Entitled to work in NZ
  • Counterbalance current license
